OBJECTIVES OF SSCA

Find below the objectives of the South Sudan Cooperative Alliance (SSCA).

1. Strengthen the organizational and technical capacity of member Cooperatives.
2. Promote sustainable agricultural practices and climate resilience.
3. Enhance value addition, storage, and marketing of agricultural produce.
4. Mobilize resources and partnerships for Cooperative Development.
5. To unite, Represent, and serving the interest of cooperative societies in all ten states and three administrative area
6. To advocate for supporting legal framework and fostering economic development and knowledge sharing among members to drives sustainable, people centered and inclusive growth.
7. Mobilize fund to strengthen rural cooperatives Participate in solving problems and obstacles that hamper the economic development and progress of the Alliance.
8. Promote integrity, honesty, openness, personal excellence constructive self-reliance continual self-improvement and mutual respect for one another
9. To devise effective methods for famers cooperatives awareness about control measures of crop pests and food processing.
10. To sensitize alliance about factors that lead to environmental degradation and its effective preservation methods.

  SSCA envisions the sufficiently empowered rural communities to champion their own livelihoods and economic change through promoting sustainable food production and productivity

• Mission:
  SSCA empower primary cooperatives particular smallholder farmers to improve livelihoods through collective actions and capacity to enhance sustainable agriculture programme, market access and skill development.
